Questo lavoro di presentazione del GAL BA.TI.R. vuole rappresentare una sintesi di quelle che sono le finalità per le quali lo stesso è nato. In un territorio come il nostro, così ricco di storia, tradizione, cultura (essendo stato quest'angolo di Calabria il fulcro della civiltà mediterranea), si registrano ancora delle situazioni altamente meritevoli della più ampia valorizzazione. Ma, senza elencare qui le singole specificità, basta guardarsi attorno ed accendere i riflettori su tutto ciò che per noi - che in questa terra siamo nati e vissuti - è "normalità", invece, per gli altri, sia "eccezionalita". Ed è proprio su queste "eccezionalità" che vogliamo puntare, spendendoci con tutto l'impegno e l'amore che ci lega a questa nostra terra.

This work presentation of GAL BA.TI.R. aims to represent a summary of our goals from which we were born. In an area like ours, so rich in history, traditions and culture (being that this corner of Calabria is at the heart of Mediterannean civilisation), there are still situations deserving of wider appreciation. Without listing every specific detail, we must look around and focus on everything that, for us who were born and raised in this land seem "normal", but instead to others are "exceptional". And it is precisely this "exceptional" that we want to highlight, to appreciate with all the commitment and love that binds us to this land of ours.
